Tbilisi: The officials and representatives of the Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development arranged a meeting with parents. The meeting was held with aim to highlight role of parents and other members of society for overall development of children.
It is worth to note that non-governmental organisations Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development is doing many efforts for social works. Organization also taken steps for those who are most vulnerable section of society as well as those who need immediate attention and care.
It is also to be added that the official of the NGO also taken to the social media handles to share details information. The official Facebook page Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development stated, “Representatives of A(a)Ip Habitat for Equality, Achievement and Development and language and speech therapists held information meetings for educators and parents in Zugdidi kindergartens.”
At the same time it further stated, “The goal of the meetings was to introduce the organization’s activities, discuss future cooperation prospects and provide information to the audience about the stages of a child’s development. Moreover, during the meeting the role of family and kindergarten in the process of raising and developing a child was also discussed.”
It is worth to note that, Information meetings were held within the framework of the project ,Need-based and development-oriented therapy services for children with disabilities in Zugdidi. This project is being funded by the German Embassy in Georgia. The project is being implemented by Habitat for Equitable Achievement and Development (HEAD) in Georgia as well.”
The organiser of the event said that in future more such initiative will be taken in this direction as well. They also thanked the parents for their esteemed presence as well. Similarly, parents who visited and attended this important meeting also said that they are very thankful to organisers of the event.
They expressed hopes that more such kind of initiative will be taken by the organisers in future as well. They said the information they got in this seminar is very useful.
