Georgia: The International Black Sea University (IBSU) hosted a delegation from the Polytechnic Institute of Braganca, including Nuno Ribeiro, Dean of the School of Technology and Management, and Jose Eduardo Fernandes, Director of the Graduate Program in Informatics.
The delegation’s two-day visit was to discuss and plan future collaborations in computer science and informatics. During the visit, they met with the Dean of the IBSU School of Computer Science and Architecture, heads of programs, and undergraduate students of the Computer Science program.
It is noteworthy that IBSU has been successfully cooperating with the institute mentioned since 2016. This collaboration has led to the implementation of the dual diploma program for the Bachelor’s degree, which has been a significant achievement for both institutions.
During the meeting, the parties engaged in fruitful discussions about new cooperation models, dual diplomas, and BIP (Blending Intensive Course) courses. They also laid out exciting plans for the future, including preparing joint applications in scientific projects. These plans hold great promise for our collaboration in the future.
