The ADB is a major financial organisation that provides huge financial assistance for major infrastructure projects especially in rural areas. Georgia is already receiving a large amount from Georgia. The Loan Agreements were signed by Lasha Khutsishvili, Georgia’s Minister of Finance and Lesley Bearman Lahm the ADB Country Director for Georgia. The Climate Smart Irrigation Sector Development Project covers the overall development and improvement of agriculture systems in East Georgia.
The representative of the Asian Development Bank assured Georgia of every possible assistance in future. On the other hand the Georgian Minister extended his gratitude to the ADB for the assistance.
