Tbilisi: The Georgian weather department has issued another weather report. The report covers the details of expected weather from August 30-31 to September 1-2, 2024.
As per the report on August 30-31 mild rain and lightning are expected in some regions of Georgia. However on September 1-2, the weather will be hot and mostly dry. The weather in Georgia’s capital city Tbilisi, will be normal. The air temperature during the day will be +33- +35 degrees.
According to the report in the coastal areas which cover Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti on August 30-31 short rain with lightning is possible with normal temperatures between +28 and +30 degrees.
In the plain regions of Western Georgia including Zestafoni, Kutaisi, Samtredia, Zugdidi, Martvili and Ozurgeti there will be mild rain on August 30-31 with lightning in some places. Moreover on September 1-2 the weather will be hot and rainless. The air temperature during the day will be +33, +37 degrees.
The weather in the mountainous regions of Western Georgia, Ambrolauri, Oni, Tsageri, Shovi, Chiatura, Sachkhere, Khulo and Ricoti Pass is expected to be rainy with lightning for the next two days. However on September 1-2 the weather will be rainless with the air temperature varying between +31 and +33 degrees.
For mountainous regions of Western Georgia Mestia, Bakhmaro short rain with lightning is expected. Report also predicted the temperature during the day between +27, +29 degrees.
On the other hand in the Kartli region’s areas of Rustavi, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, Gori, and Tskhinvali a short rain may occur on August 30-31 with lightning. But on September 1-2 the weather will be rainless. As per the report in these areas the air temperature during the day will be +33, +35 degrees.
Similarly in Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekh, Kvareli, Akhmeta, and Dedoplistskaro on August 30-31 low to mild rain with lightning and hailstorms is being expected. On September 1-2 the weather will be rainless In all these areas.
The report stated that the air temperature during the day will be +32, +34 degrees. In the mountainous regions of Eastern Georgia there will be no to medium rain and the temperature during the day will be +31, +33 degrees.
