Martvili Canyon a natural monument of Georgia is one of the favorite places visited by the local and international tourists. The Martvili Canyon is located in the Martivili municipality in southern Georgia.
Badri Vadachkoria a journalist who visited the Martvili Canyon shared his personal views about the place. He took to his social media handle to explain the beauty of the place and also posted attractive, mesmerizing pictures of the natural beauty.
He stated “Martvili Canyon is an amazing sight, that’s why it has the most visitors in Georgia than any other site. Martvili Canyon, a monument of nature in the village Gachedili, Martvili municipality, Samegrelo area is located above 210 meters sea level. The Martville Canyon visitor center is located at the entrance to the canyon.”
He further added “The natural monument is built by the river Abasha in Anaklia. 2400 meter long canyon have a depth of 20-30 m . In the middle of the canyon there are waterfalls. One section stands out with special beauty. This is the spots known as the “bath of dates.”
The location also has a 700 m long circular pedestrian path, which starts from the Visitor Center and passes through the historical walking path. On the path, there are 2 bridges, 3 tax platforms, and a 30-step historical staircase. According to him visiting this place will be like exploring the heaven.

All the photos give an impression of heaven on earth. The freshwater waterfall, lush green forests on both the sides of river, and natural rocks surrounding the rivers enriched the beauty of the place which no one can ignore.
