The administration of Tianeti municipality is conducting series of meeting. The meeting are being held in order to select projects to be implemented in 2025 within the framework of the “Village Support Program”.
The officials under this village support program are meetings local government representatives of municipalities. The general meeting discusses the socio-economic needs of the village, from which residents will select a priority project and submit it to the City Hall for financing.
In all four villages of the Zhebot Administrative Unit – Zhebot, Tegeraani, Dzhebniyauri and Lelovani, by the majority of votes of the population, priority was given to the arrangement of outdoor lighting.
It is also worth to note that by decree of the Government of Georgia, 848,000 GEL was allocated to Tianeti Municipality for the implementation of the “Village Support Program”.
We would like to remind you that consultations with the population will be held in all twelve administrative units of the municipality and will end on February 18 of this year as well.

The mayor on this occasion assured the attendee that more such meeting will be held in future so that maximum efforts can be taken in direction of the overall development of municipality infrastructure as well.
On the other hand, attendee of meeting while sharing their views also recommended that improvement in educational and health services. Some of them suggested that this meeting platform in the biggest, best platform to shared valuable views and ideas along with experience with each other also.
It is also to be added that in the present year meetings in the many municipalities across the country are being conducted so that maximum people can shared their views and be part of process of policy making as well.
