Mikheil Sarjveladze meets Ana Maria Shiko Hungarian Ambassador to Georgia

Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Refugees, Labor, Health and Social Protection from the Occupied Territory Mikheil Sarjveladze, met with the Hungarian Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Georgia, Ana Maria Shiko on February 6, 2025, Thursday.

The Ministry of Refugees, Labor, Health and Social Protection from the Occupied Territory shared glimpses of the meeting on its official Facebook page on the same day.

The Ministry also shared a small note about the meeting discussions. According to the information shared by the Ministry, the sides discussed labor relations between the two countries.

The Georgian Minister of Health stressed the importance of partnership between the two countries and He also expressed hiss gratitude towards the Hungarian Ambassador for her cooperation. According to the minister Sarveladze, the authority is ready to discuss the initiative of the Hungarian side to deepen labor relations.

According to the Hungarian Ambassador, Ana Maria Shiko, Georgia is a friendly country for Hungary, therefore, ready for multifaceted effective cooperation and sharing experience.

The Hungarian Ambassador also states that alongside the partnership of governments, and countries’ economic cooperation, relations between the private sector and the public are very important.

The parties also agreed on employment and cooperation to build specialized programs. Since they are aware that Hungary and Georgia’s collaboration has been growing rapidly in recent years, especially in the food, pharmaceutical, and energy industries, they also talked about potential partnerships and their goals.

The conversation also touched upon the bilateral relations between the two countries. According to their dialogue, it is concluded that Georgia and Hungary enjoy active cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
