Tbilisi: Aleksandre Tsuladze, the Georgian minister of Education, Science, and Youth visited the newly rehabilitated public school 215 in Tbilisi.
During the visit the minister got acquainted with the renovated infrastructure and interacted with teachers and students.
At the time of inspection, Aleksandre Tsuladze visited the newly constructed building along with Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Gela Geladze. The updated building infrastructure has all the latest facilities.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion included the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council Giorgi Tkemaladze and the Education and Culture Commission Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council, Kakhaber Labuchidze. Similarly Irakli Kuprava, the head of the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency of the State Council of Georgia was also present.
It is worth noting that the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Agency carried out the school’s rehabilitation works. After the completion of construction work the new academic session 2024-2025 in a fully rehabilitated, modern educational space is announced.
Minister Aleksandre Tsuladze visit Tbilisi’s public schoolThe building is designed for 120 students and has been completely renovated and adapted for students with special needs.
The school building’s facilities such as fire safety, heating, water-sewerage, and electrical wiring systems were updated within the framework of the infrastructural project.
At the same time the science and computer laboratories, library, resource room, doctor’s office, sports infrastructure, and recreational spaces were organised in the school.
In addition, the building is fully equipped with all relevant learning resources to provide a world-class educational facility. According to the information the infrastructure project cost amounted to 2 million 790 thousand GEL.
Moreover a large-scale construction/rehabilitation project is underway in many parts of Georgia to improve the school infrastructure.
According to the source by the end of October this year, the comprehensive rehabilitation of 60 public schools will be completed. With the addition of these the construction and complete rehabilitation of 100 public schools will be successfully concluded.
The local citizens have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the administration. They are hopeful that the new school will bring more significant changes in the educational facilities of the region.
