Mikheil Sarjveladze, the minister of IDPs (Internally displaced persons) from the occupied territories, labor, health and social affairs met with Zaza Lominadze. Zaza Lominadze is the chairman of the parliamentary committee on health and social affairs of occupied terrotories.
He had a productive interaction with members of the committee who were present there as well. Mikheil Sarjveladze spoke about the importance of cooperation with the parliamentary sectoral committee and noted that the ministry is ready to hear the opinions of representatives of the legislative body on any issue.
According to the minister, meetings and discussions of this format will allow the Ministry to create legislative initiatives and implement relevant reforms, taking into account the best interests of the patient.
It is also worth to note that the meetings between representatives of the ministry of IDPs from the occupied territories, labour, health and social affairs and the parliamentary committee on health and social affairs will continue in the future. The minister assure for all possible assistance to people associated with welfare of people from occupied territories as well.
The meeting was attended by deputy Ministers Giorgi Tsagareishvili, Irine Tsakadze, Tea Giorgadze and Giorgi Pataridze. Moreover, the first deputy chairman of the committee on health protection and social issues Vladimer Kakhadze, Deputy Chairman Zaal Mikeladze, Committee members Irma Zavradashvili and Anton Obolashvili shared their views with peoples.
The member of committees during this meeting with minister also said that “This was a productive meeting between both sides. They expressed their gratitude for minister for extending every possible assistance for people living difficult conditions in Georgia as well.”
The minister at the same time revealed after meeting that both sides agreed to take steps for enhancing cooperation. This will result is effective implementation of the welfare program being launched by central government ministry as well as by the local authorities.
