Tbilisi: The Georgia’s minister of State Tea Akhvlediani addressed the representatives of diplomatic mission of Georgia. She interacted with them during the Conference of Ambassadors 2024.
At this important meeting with the representative of Georgian mission both sides talked about the results achieved and future plans in the format of panel discussion.
It is worth to note that the minister at this meeting underlined that, “The Georgian government continues its policy of peaceful restoration of territorial integrity. ,the policy of reconciliation and inclusion is an integral part of the state policy for peaceful resolution of the conflict and one of the directions that is being implemented towards the population living in the occupied regions of Georgia.”
As per the minister the implementation of the Georgian government’s 2021-30 state strategy for civil equality and integration for the fourth year is going on with positive dynamics.
It is also to be noted that at the Conference of Ambassadors 2024 several panel discussions were held on different thematic areas. The moderator of the discussion was the Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili.
Moreover the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Défense Irakli Chikovani, Minister of State for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Tea Akhvlediani and Deputy Speaker of Parliament Gia Volski participated in the panel discussion on security.
The minister also said that “Ambassadors, of Georgia is foreign countries plays a very significant role for diplomacy of Georgia. Moreover, this format is a very important format that allows us to discuss with the heads of our diplomatic missions abroad all issues relevant to our country.”
She said, as part of the mandate of the Minister of State, today we discussed the priorities of the policy of reconciliation and involvement, the results of the peace initiatives, the challenges that are an integral part of the unified peace policy and the conflict-affected population living in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions.
At the meeting the the minister introduced the ambassadors to the results of the implementation of the State Strategy for Civil Equality and Integration along with many other issues related to foreign policy of Georgia.
