The top daily newspaper of United States of America included Kutaisi, a Georgian city in list of 52 places that must be visited in 2025. Kutaisi has been placed at number 37 in list of top world destination for visitors.
The list is released by English daily New York times recently. The Jane Austen’s in England tops the list, whereas Montserrat  the Caribbean occupied place 52nd in list. As per the description provided by NYT about Kutaisi, the place one of oldest inhabited city on earth known for its rich history, culture, cuisine across world. The city is in centre of beautiful natural sites of Georgia.
It is worth to mention that although city has rich historical and cultural values but still was not visited by enough tourist. Â The city gains international intention only when many regional European and international Airlines started their direct flight to Kutaisi.
It is also to be noted that Kutaisi is third most populated city of Georgia beside Tbilisi and Batumi being first and second most populated city of Georgia. The city boast for its many landmark building including UNESCO site labelled as world heritage site.
Some of places that attract tourist includes the Bagrati Cathedral, Motsameta Monastery, Gelati monastery, Okatse Canyon etc. Â The greatest attraction for people who want to visit religious historical sites is Motsameta Monastery named after David and Constantine two saint brother.
As Kutaisi is located just between lush green mountain it mesmerises every nature lover. The internal part of city is also full with many garden. The Rioni River passing through the middle of Kutaisi also gave it a natural vibe.
