The administration of the Khashuri Municipality announced the implementation of a new development projects. This will be implemented under the category of “village support program”.
It is to be specifically mentioned that in Khashuri Municipality meetings with the local population within the framework of the Village Support Program will start on January 25, 2024.
It is to be added that general meetings and consultations of settlements in administrative units of Khashuri municipality will start from January 25 and will continue in 77 villages of the municipality in a daily mode until February 7, 2024.
Notably the Khashuri Municipality has allocated 904 000 GEL budgetary amount for the implementation of the village support program.
As per the more information, the projects financed within the framework of the 2024 Village Support Program are as following:
- Drinking water systems (including boreholes, water pipes, top bumps, sewage bumps, wells, etc.)
- Irrigation systems
- Drainage channels
- Siding jobs
- Roads
Other projects also includes
- Bridges, crossings, crossings
- Outdoor lighting
- The facilities of the nearby schools
- Preschool institutions and relevant inventory
- Outpatient clinics buildings
- Cemetery fencing and furnishing
- Sports infrastructure, fields and playground inventory
- Squares, including children’s squares, with appropriate inventory, as well as recreational areas and wet spots with appropriate inventory
- Rehabilitation of mills and appropriate inventory
- Mini hydroelectric stations and appropriate rehabilitation/restoration
“Village Support Program” will implement projects that will be selected by the local village priorities at meetings or consultations.
The official also said that more funds would be arranged for the successful completion of the project. They also said that these projects are being implemented to make the availability of world-class facilities at the doorstep of the citizens.
