Tbilisi: The service agency of ministry of internal affairs have shared important information with those who want new licences. As per information process for new licence has been postponed.
As per the information the decision has been taken due to unstable weather pattern. The information was also shared on social media. This was done to make most people aware about this decision.
The official Facebook page stated that, “Please be informed that due to heavy snowfall, at this time the practical exams for driving license are delayed in several structural units of the service agency. Clearing work is underway.”
It further added that the first and second stages of the practical exam for driving license in Ozurgeti and Batumi are suspended. Similarly in Telavi, A1, A2 sub-category internal practical exam (field), as well as the second stage of the C category driving license practical exam is suspended.
In Akhalkalaki, candidates will be able to go to the first stage of the practical exam from 14:00 o’clock. The official sources also said that “We inform you that disqualification will not be applied to candidates registered for the second stage of practical exam and the paid amount will be kept in full.”
Moreover, the candidates will be informed step by step with detailed information about the specific date of taking the exam. They advised that people must keep in mind that due to heavy snowfall, the exam process in other structural units of the agency may be delayed. Notably recent unstable weather pattern in many parts of country has caused multiple problems, The heavy rain as well as the snowfall has caused the traffic disturbance. Many roads are still blocked. The authorities have engaged the heavy machinery to clear the roads and make the traffic movement once again normal as well.
