Vaziani: The newly elected President Mikheil Kavelashvili visited recently to military base at Vaziani. He meets there with Georgian soldiers and discusses multiple defence issues with senior army officers.
While taking to his social media handles President also shared the glimpses of the visit. As per the official Facebook page of President, “Today I visited the Vaziani military base, where I met with the soldiers of the 4th Infantry and 5th Artillery Brigades of the Eastern Command. I got acquainted with their living conditions and the current situation at the base.”
The official Facebook page of Georgian president also added that, I am glad that the infrastructure of the military base meets high standards and that our country has well-trained and equipped military units.”
While interacting with soldier’s president also underlined strongly that, strengthening our country’s defines forces and appreciating our soldiers is the main priority of the Georgian government and me personally.
Moreover, President lauds performance of Georgian Defence minister and stated, Under the leadership of the Minister of Défense, a number of important reforms are being implemented in the department, which will further strengthen our army.
President expressed bright future of Georgian defence forces said, I am sure that the relevant departments will spare no effort in the future to strengthen the defines forces and appreciating our soldiers with dignity. I would like to express my deep gratitude to our brave soldiers for their loyal service to the country and selfless dedication.
It is very important to note that since the President assumed charge, he is visiting different military basis. The President during his visit to military bases integrated with army personal as well their senior commander.
As per President these meeting is mainly aimed to apprised me about military war preparation. President during his latest visit to military base stressed that, Georgia want good friendly relation with countries of world however we are making efforts to stabilises the defence preparations.
