Poti: Within the framework of the grant competition of the LEPL Youth Agency, another project, “Poti After Ten Years,” is all set to be implemented. The project has been closed after completing the necessary formalities.
The event was held recently in the presence of many dignitaries. The closing event was attended by Lekso Todua, Deputy Mayor of Poti Municipality, Veriko Gheshalali, Head of the Program Management Department of the Youth Agency, and young people.
The project participants presented a presentation about the activities carried out. The winners of the essay competition (theme: “Poti After Ten Years”) were also awarded.
Moreover, at the end of the event, the young people created a “time capsule.” The project participants placed essays and drawings in the capsule, describing how they imagine the city of Poti in ten years. About 200 young people participated in these activities. The event ended with a concert by a musical band, which was enjoyed by a large number of attendees on this occasion as well.
The Poti City Hall continues to make efforts for the overall development of the municipality. This is not the first time the city hall has undertaken such initiatives. In fact, similar efforts were made in previous years as well.
Those familiar with the growth of the project further added that this new infrastructure project will bring dramatic change to the lives of the people in the city. They will have access to world-class civic facilities through this new infrastructure project. It is worth noting that many cities have been developed by the administration in various regions across the country.
The people of these localities expressed their special gratitude to the authorities working for the overall development of the city area.
The authorities also stated that, in the future, more such efforts will be made in this direction so that people can enjoy the best facilities.
