The prosector office of Georgia has booked 30 persons. They have been found guilty by law enforcersd for theft and other organised crimes.
The information was shared by the office on different social media handles. The official Facebook page stated, “The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has charged 30 people with ” theft”, membership in a “thieves’ underworld gang”, support for the activities of a “thieves’ underworld” participation in a “thieves’ gathering”, appeal to a “thieves’ underworld” and illegal acquisition and storage of firearms and ammunition.”
As a result of the investigation conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was determined that based on the existing confrontation between “thieves’ underworld” abroad, the parties planned and organized a so-called thieves’ gathering at which they ordered the persons to cause a physically retaliate against the opposing party.
The investigation also revealed that to resolve the financial dispute through “thieves’ underworld”, the disputing parties turned to members of the “thieves’ underworld. The members of thieves’ underworld gang have been doing their activities in many different countries.
Law enforcement officers also detained one of them for the illegal acquisition and storage of firearms and ammunition. The law enforcement officials are also conducting the further investigation to crack the network of whole gang.
It is worth to note to keep the crime rate under control the law enforcement agencies of Georgia are working round the clock in coordination with each other. At the same time the prosecution office of Georgia is also making many efforts to ensure punishment for anti-social elements.
The evidence is collected and produced by office of Prosecutor in court of law. Moreover, many gangs of organised criminals have been busted so far by the office of Georgian prosecutor in coordination of other law enforcement agencies as well.
The social media users while reacting to official post of office on Facebook appreciate the working of Government agencies along with prosecutor office. They said these coordinated efforts are need of hour curb anti-social activities.
