‘Beyond medicine’ exhibition of student works takes place

Tbilisi, Georgia: Before the graduation ceremony of the American program of the graduate doctor of the Tbilisi State Medical University, an exhibition prepared by the program’s students was held. This exhibition led the graduation event for graduates of the American Graduate Medical Program.

An exhibition was prepared within the framework of the educational courses “Artistic Glass—Fusing” and “Minankari—Jewelry Case.” It should be noted that these courses were developed by the joint work of representatives of Tbilisi State Medical University and Apollo Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Art, which can be considered the best example of the relationship between universities. In addition, this course develops the most essential skills for a doctor.

The exhibition was called “Beyond Medicine“. The exhibition draws visitors to the creative talents and diverse interests of students in the U.S. program they discover beyond their medical studies. It should be noted that the students are delighted with the learning process and the results achieved, which is why the program award was given to the Tbilisi State Art Academy, named after Apollon Kutateladze, at the graduation ceremony.

During the graduation ceremony, the American MD Program Special Appreciation Award was presented to Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Art to recognize their contribution to inter-institutional collaboration.
