The Mayor of Sagarejo Municipality, Avtandil Gulikashvili visited the Ilia Chavchavadze Authorized Public College of city.The Mayor during his visit there congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and inspected the existing base for practical training of student as well.
The Mayor in his address added that“I would like to congratulate each of you on the start of the new academic year and wish you success in your future activities. The role of young people is important in the development of our municipality and the country.”
He also stated that, I am sure that you will use the knowledge you have gained for the welfare and progress of Sagarejo. The preparatory program course will be conducted by experienced and leading specialists in the field, we know most of them well, and the professional staff trained by them will be a guarantee of the success of our municipality.”
It is worth to note that while taking into account the requirements of the labour market the college trains specialists in various fields such as pharmacists, kindergarten teachers, office managers, accountants, information technology specialists and zoo engineers.
On this occasion the head of the institution and teachers provided the mayor of the municipality with comprehensive information on educational and work programs and introduced future plans.
The vocational school serves not only the city of Sagarejo, but also the administrative units within the municipality, including local youth from villages inhabited by ethnic minorities, who have the opportunity to receive quality education on site and get employed immediately after completing the program.
Ilia Chavchavadze Authorized Public College was founded in December 2000. The college is managed by a strong team of qualified employees, whose merit is the successful results of the college. Ilia Chavchavadze Vocational School is a full member of the Association of Private Colleges since 2013 and actively cooperates with all member colleges.
Moreover the college with a complete training base, well-equipped yard and sports field, it successfully implements professional programs at all levels in education, healthcare, business administration, computer technology and other areas.
