Castries, Saint Lucia: The Saint Lucian Ministry of Youth Development and Sports announced the nominated athletes for the forthcoming National Sports Awards i.e. on February 18,2023. The Awards event will be held at the Royalton Resort and Spa. The event will be broadcast live via the National Television Network from 7 p.m.
The event holds a specific importance as it marks the national independence celebrations. Moreover, this is the first major sports award ceremony after the halt due to the Covid-19 pandmeic.
At the event, the athletes who gave out their best performances will be recognized, while awarding them for achievements. The awards categories include, Sportsman of the year, Sportswoman of the year, Juinor Sportsman & Sportswoman of the year. The nominees for these awards are enlisted below.
