Yesterday, Georgia celebrated Independence Day. Leaders of several countries congratulated Georgia on Independence Day.
Among the leaders is Li Keqiang, Premier of the People’s Republic of China’s State Council, who wishes Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili a Happy Independence Day.
According to Li Keqiang, China-Georgia relations maintain positive dynamics of development, and their mutually beneficial partnership is steadily advancing across a variety of areas.
“On behalf of the Chinese government and in my own name, I would like to express my warm wishes to you and the esteemed Georgian government on the occasion of Georgia’s Independence Day.”
The China-Georgia relationship is now increasing at a steady pace. Our mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields is steadily progressing. “I would like to work with you to further deepen our cooperation on the mutual construction of the “Belt and Road,” enriching the connotation of China-Georgia relations and friendship while bringing new benefits to our countries and peoples,” reads the letter from China’s Premier of the State Council.
Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, also congratulated Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili and the citizens of Georgia on the Day of Independence today.
According to the congratulatory letter, the Czech Republic will continue to stand by Georgia on the path of European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
“Please accept my sincere congratulations on the National Day of your nation, the Independence Day of Georgia.
Russia is violating international law and jeopardizing European and global security and stability with its military aggression against Ukraine. In this context, Georgia’s stability and resilience are critical, as is the country’s commitment to the European and Euro-Atlantic integration path.
I want to reassure you that the Czech Republic will continue to support Georgia in this endeavour.
Please accept the assurance of my highest consideration,” notes the congratulatory letter.
Mateusz Morawiecki, Poland’s Prime Minister, congratulated the Georgian Prime Minister on the Day of Independence. Mateusz Morawiecki highlights that Poland will continue supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, along with its pro-western path inter-alia, in assessing the EU Membership Application of Georgia.
The Prime Minister of Poland wishes for Georgia to increase its position in the international arena, as well as for the Head of Government of Georgia to be successful in his service to the country.

President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, congratulated Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili and the Georgians on the Day of Independence today.
According to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Turkey and Georgia will continue making their contribution to the regional peace, stability and revival.
“On behalf of Turkey’s people and myself, I wish to congratulate Your Excellency and the Georgian people on the Day of Independence.
I sincerely hope that two strategic partners – Turkey and Georgia – will continue making their contribution to the stability, peace and revival of the region.

Kiril Petkov, Bulgaria’s Prime Minister, wishes Irakli Garibashvili a happy Independence Day. The Head of the Georgian Government received an official letter from his Bulgarian counterpart stating that the Republic of Bulgaria values good relations with Georgia.
“The Republic of Bulgaria highly appreciates its friendly relations with Georgia, and in this regard, I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate the Bulgarian government’s willingness to work in the future to realize Your country’s European and Euro-Atlantic choices,” Kiril Petkov writes.
