The Youth agency of Georgia once again come with new grant competition. This is to be added that the aim is strengthening youth development initiatives.
The SP Youth Agency in famous organisation which is offering an exciting new opportunity for youth organizations. These opportunities are provided to them through its grant competition, “Strengthening Youth Organizations.”
It is worth to note that this initiative aims to foster youth development by promoting informal education, enhancing organizational capacities and equipping young people with essential skills. The youth after acquiring these skills will become active participants in their communities.
It is also worth to note that the competition is designed to support projects that align with specific thematic priorities, encouraging youth engagement in various social and democratic processes as well. Some of the key focus areas for grant projects should be as per follow:
- Youth Participation and Civic Responsibility: Projects of groups which t encourage young people to participate in social and democratic processes, helping to build a culture of volunteering and civic engagement.
- Peace Building and Intercultural Dialogue: The groups initiatives that focus on conflict transformation, peacebuilding and fostering intercultural dialogue, with a particular emphasis on integrating ethnic minorities can participate under this.
- Youth Economic Empowerment: Under this head projects that promote entrepreneurship and improve employability skills, empowering young people economically and helping them navigate the job market.
- Access to Informal Education: Efforts to enhance access to informal education and youth services, ensuring young people can gain knowledge and skills outside traditional educational settings.
- Lifelong Learning projects: These will be projects that will be available for promoting the transfer of key competencies that support lifelong learning, helping youth develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
In addition to these priorities the grant competition also aims to the youth population to train with training components in their projects. These training sessions will also focus on building the skills necessary for the empowerment of both youth organization members and young participants.
As per information the non-profit youth organizations with a focus on youth development are eligible to apply for this grant competition will be also agenda of this project. The total budget of the competition will be 800,000 GEL, with each grant project eligible for funding ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 GEL.
