The Tbilisi City Hall’s Application Fix Tbilisi has been activated . The mayor of the capital Kakha Kaladze introduced the functions and capabilities of the city hall’s new application to the Georgian citizens.
Fix Tbilisi, as a means of specific communication between the municipality and the citizen, was created to inform the municipality about infrastructure damage in the capital.
The app combines four categories of issues: road infrastructure damage, tree-plant damage, outdoor lighting damage and park infrastructure damage.
A citizen will be able to identify the damage, take a photo, provide the address and add a description. This information will be automatically provided to the relevant civil service, which will start reacting to the statement, and the providing citizen will receive updated information through the same application on what stage the problem has been solved.
“Many citizens are registered in different programs of the City Hall and with the same data they can use the application, and can register.
If we notice any damage, we go to this application, choose one of four categories, take a photo, indicate the address, and write in the description what is damaged, and this information will be sent to the appropriate service, which will be responded very soon.
The citizen who sent the information gets a reply as to what stage of solving the problem and how long it takes to fix it. When it’s done, it will also get the message. The app has two boards – my fixed issues and my resolved issues. This app makes things even easier.
I would like to thank all the people who have a heartache about the city, are involved in solving different problems every day and sending us information through Facebook and hotline, however, from today it is possible to simplify this communication, cooperate with Fix Tbilisi and solve the problems that concern the population, – Kakha Kaladze said.
The mayor of the capital also spoke about vandalism.
“We have repeatedly spread information about this. Providing the public with concrete facts and videos on how they purposely damage specific infrastructure.
We must all fight vandalism together and explain to our children, the next generation, that what is done in the capital – parks, renovated avenues, tidy streets, is done first of all for the people living in this city and is important for Tbilisi.
Therefore, we all have to take care of all this and pass it on to the next generation”, – Kakha Kaladze said.
