The very captivating festival “Georgian Corner Festival” was held at Meidan Inn in the capital city of Tbilisi. The festival was organized by the “Tsiskvili Group.”
It is also to be specifically mentioned that the artists and citizens from the Akhaltsikhe municipality were also invited to the festival. An exhibition of the works of Akhaltsikhe craftsmen and artists was presented on this special occasion.
Moreover at the festive concert local ensembles performed choreographic and musical solo and group items and got huge appreciation from all the corners of the audience. The guests who visited the festival with their family members also had the opportunity to taste authentic Georgian dishes, Georgian wine and products in the background of a Georgian polyphonic singing and dancing stage.
Similalty a exhibition cum sale of handicrafts products was held in which people showed great interest also. A colorful and fun children’s zone was specially arranged for children to make their day memorable. The festival hosted audience from the region like Imereti, Samegrelo, Svaneti, Samtskhe-Javakheti, Guria and Racha.
It is to be noted that the “Georgian Corners Festival” was founded by the “Mill Group” in 2023, the main idea of which is to familiarize and popularize the culture, folklore, choreography, wine and gastronomy of Georgian corners for both Georgian and foreign guests.
On the other hand the Tsiskvili was established more than 21 years ago. The group had done commendable work in the field of the tourism and hospitality sector of the country. The Tsisikvili group presentaly is the owner of the eight restaurants and two markets across the various region of the country. The group is also working to make popular the rich heritage, cultural, and traditional values of the country across the globe.
The visitors attended the event with their falimy members. They clicked photos to save them as lifelong memories of the quality time they spent with their family members. A musical ensemble with old members also performed during the event. They wore the old traditional costumes, which reflected their affection for the old cultural values of Georgia.
There were interesting performance of kids and children who performed on different songs; some of them gave the solo performance whereas some performed as group.
