In the Vake district which falls under Tbilisi, a square and a sports field are being constructed. The building is being created near buildings N9-10 of the Nutsubidze Plato IV Micro-district.
The 3,000 square meter area will be equipped with appropriate equipment, a recreation pavilion, a sports field, fitness zones and similarly a children’s playground will be arranged there.
The mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze and the chairman of the city council together with the majoritarian deputy of the Vake district, Giorgi Tkemaladze, got acquainted with the ongoing works. They visited personally at site and addressed the media at site to apprise them pace of work which they expected will be completed soon.
Kakha Kaladze, the Mayor of capital city Tbilisi while addressing media personal underlined, “Works on the arrangement of a square are underway in the first micro district of Nutsubidze. The project is important in that there are many residential buildings around. We want to completely arrange the mentioned territory, which is approximately 3,000 sq. meters.”
Moreover, in his address of media the Mayor further stated that within the framework of the project, window screens, walking paths, trees and plants will be planted, the territory will be greened along with attractions that will be arranged for children, as well as an exercise space will be allocated. It will also have lighting and irrigation systems.
The implementation of the works will take approximately two months expected the Mayor Kakha Kaladze. The project is being implemented by the Vake District Administration. The cost of the works is 960,000 GEL.
Along with the mayors of the capital, deputy mayors Irakli Bendeliani and Kakha Guledani, as well as Vake District Governor Davit Kvinikadze were present at the site.
The glimpse of visit were shared on social media page where users appreciated development efforts of administration as well. They expressed gratitude towards Mayor for his commitment to development.
