The police department during a recent joint operation against the anti-social elements had arrested the six people. The illegal firearms and ammunition were also recovered from the arrested person as well.
It   was a joint operation by the employees of the Central Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs along with the emploees of local police departments.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs took to their social media handle to provide the information in this regard. As per the shared information one of the detainees was already convicted in the past G.N. was born in 1984.
It is also to be noted that during their personal search and search at their residential houses police recovered a hunting rifle, a hand grenade, an explosive device, and the narcotic drug “marijuana” also.
On the other hand, the employees Main Division of Detectives and the Main Investigation Division of the Tbilisi Police Department arrested the accused identified as A.P., born in 1981. Â Moreover during the search of him by the law enforcement agencies a firearm, a silencer, and 35 cartridges were recovered from his possession.
The employees of the Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri regional divisions of the Guria Police Department arrested 2 persons after the joint operation on the different places across the city as well. Moreover from his passion police recovered a pistol, a muzzle, and 7 cartridges. Another detainee I.O., who was born in 1964, has been convicted many times in the past and now again an automatic firearm and a cartridge were seized as evidence from his possession.
Poti city and Chkhorotsku district divisions of the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti police department also conducted search operation at different times and arrested Z.S., born in 1981. Â Two pistols, a muzzle, and 2 cartridges were recovered as evidence by the law enforcers as well from the accused.
L.G. was born in 1992. He Was arrested by employees of the Imereti Police Department from whom they recovered a revolver and 4 cartridges as evidence.Further investigation is being conducted under the relevant section of the  Criminal Code of Georgia.
