Tbilisi: Under the provisions of a humanitarian project initiated by Mikheil Saakashvili, together with a large group of doctors teams will go to the village of Rukh near the Enguri Bridge. This was to provide medical assistance to all needy people.
According to Sofo Japaridze, the team of doctors is ready to provide appropriate medical assistance to every person living in the occupied territory of Abkhazia.
He also said that “Once again what is being talked about not only by us but also by many international and non-governmental organisations has been confirmed. In conclusion we read that the oppressive and humiliating environment in the clinic does not contribute to the improvement of the patient’s health. There are cases of violation of human dignity and honour. It is not possible to offer appropriate medical services in such condtions on occupied areas.
Notbaly despite the political retribution of the government Mikheil Saakashvili choose to continues fight against the Russian regime.
He also added that, once again i would like to remind the government about the urgent needs of the population of Georgia beyond Enguri. Our team of doctors is ready to provide appropriate medical care to each of them and stand by the people who are abandoned by everyone so that they can at least make life a little easier. Our goal is to continue communication with doctors even after the rally because as far as i know health care in the territory of Abkhazia occupied by Russia is in a deplorable state.
Sofo Japaridze also stated that every day people from Abkhazia contact us with a feeling of dispossession, which once again convinced us of the necessity of our decision. We are waiting for all in the village of Rukh on Sunday, from 12 o’clock on Todua Street. We are one and we must strengthen this unity at the Enguri bridge once again with our unconditional support”.
