Georgia: The Minister of Culture and Sports of Georgia, Thea Tsulukiani, held a working and informative meeting with the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhodir Akhmedov, and other members of the delegation within the framework of the Uzbek Culture Days.
The parties discussed the possibilities of deepening cooperation between Georgia and Uzbekistan in different spheres of culture. In particular, the conversation touched upon the relationship between the two countries art and music academies and the prospects of cooperation in the fields of cinema and washing.
For your information, Georgia is set to host the Uzbek Culture Days on July 10-11, with a diverse range of cultural events supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Georgia and the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan. This is the reason for the visit of the First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and his delegation to Georgia.
As part of the Uzbek Culture Days program, the Jansugh Kakhidze Music and Cultural Center will host a concert by the Uzbek State Symphony Orchestra on July 10 at 18:00. The orchestra, under the direction of the honored Uzbek artist Kamoliddin Orinboev, will perform a selection of Uzbek symphonic works and Georgian compositions.
On July 11, from 12:00 o’clock, the National Center of Cinematography will organize a screening of Uzbek films in the cinema hall of the National Archive of Georgia. Viewers will watch three well-known Uzbek films created with the financial support of the Uzbek National Cinema Center: Waiting, Flight 101, and Change. The screenings are free to attend.
Uzbek artists visit the state ensemble of song and dance “Erision.” The ensemble will introduce their work to the guests, and the parties will share their creative experiences with each other.
