Russia-Ukraine War: The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, on Monday stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine required long-range missiles with a range of 800 kilometres. According to Danilov, this would be the most effective solution against the Russian forces attacking the energy facilities continuously, and that can be put to an end through these long-range weapons.
The missile strikes from Russian forces have so far affected millions of Ukrainians who have been left behind to struggle with outages of electricity and heat in the freezing weather. Meanwhile, in Kherson, the restoration of the energy facilities is being undertaken following the retreat of the Russian forces from the right bank of Dnipro.
At the same time, the situation in the Bakhmut region has been getting worse with the intense battle going on. Kremlin has deployed another batch of Wagner militia supplied with Kadyrovites in search of a major breakthrough at the southern Bakhmut.
The Armed forces of Ukraine have put up their best efforts against Putin’s forces, but the losses so far have been immeasurable. The troops have been forced to survive in the worst conditions in the trenches filled with mud and water.
Additionally, the strikes from Russia have been further making conditions adverse. In the images of the Bakhmut, the conditions are being compared to the Passchendaele during the World War 1.
Although Ukraine is leading the war in the Bakhmut, each day ends with hundreds and thousands getting killed or wounded in the battlefield, which needs to be put to an end.
