Tbilisi: An annual wine festival “ZERO COMPROMISE” is being organized in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi. This is being held with the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Natural Wine Association of the country.
The Natural Wine Association had made an announcement in this regard on March 14 this year regarding the organization of the festival. This was attended by almost one hundred local and 25 international win companies . The wine companies across the country like France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Japan, Australia, and Slovenia participated in the event .
The festival will go for two days which will include several different events as well. evan Mekhuzla the Chairman of the National Wine Agency is in interaction with the representative of the wine companies as well.
Speaking on the occasion he said “The national wine agency with the support of the national government is making efforts to popularise the Georgian wine across the globe. To meet this end many events like wine festivals, wine competitions, and wine fairs are being held in different parts of the country, region, and international levels.”
“ZERO COMPROMISE” is also an important event in this direction. This will serve the purpose of wine popularization across the borders of Georgia” said Levan Mekhuzla.
It is to be added that the parapenting winemaker of the Festival do not use any synthetic preparations, mineral fertilizers, and herbicides in their vineyards. They use only natural methods to prepare the wines without any industrial additives due to which this is called a natural wine.
Another important objective of the festival is to increase the awareness of Georgian natural wine and promote the growth of its exports to world markets. At the platform of this annual festival, the representatives of the natural wine-making companies of Georgia get the opportunity to introduce their products to potential customers from around the world.
It is also worth mentioning that the members of the 13-person group of wine professionals from the American marketing company “Marq Energie Consulting” are attending the festival. Similarly famous American wine writer Alice Feiring will conduct the seminar. The theme of the seminar will be “Climate crisis and its impact on natural wine.
On the other hand, Danish importer Sune Rossforth will conduct the seminar on the topic of the “Evolution of the region for natural wine”. Notably on the occasion the Spanish Nuria Renomi will lead the wine corner under “The feeling of emotion in wine from the vineyard to the glass.”
