To promote the Georgian Universities internationally, 16 Universities from the Country attended the annual international exhibition in France. The yearly education fair is being held in Toulouse, France. The exhibition will go on for four days starting from September 18 to 20, 2024.
The Georgian universities are participating in the event with the support of the Georgian Ministry of Education, Science and Youth. The European Association of International Education (EAIE) organizes the annual international exhibition in Toulouse, France.
It is worth noting that under the framework of the exhibition representatives of Georgian higher educational institutions together with employees of the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth hold meetings with representatives of various foreign universities.
The meeting of Georgian University officials with representatives of other Universities discussed the issues of deepening cooperation, developing joint programs and promoting the mobility of students, academic and administrative staff.
They also discussed the scope of dual certification of Degrees. Moreover the option of opportunities for higher study in a foreign University without any problem was also discussed in detail.
Notably EAIE is one of the largest and most prestigious international exhibitions in higher education and more than 100 countries and 300 organizations participate. It should be noted that the internationalization of higher education is one of the main priorities of the Georgian government.
Within the framework of the internationalization policy, the state implements several vital projects that support universities in implementing joint educational programs and obtaining international accreditation.
The officials of Georgian Universities have erected their unique stall at space available at the exhibition site. A large number of people especially young students showed huge interest to get information about the Georgian Universities as well.
The students got information on the procedure they needed to follow to continue higher study in Georgia. More than 7,000 professionals from different universities worldwide attended the first day of the 34th annual exhibition. Georgian Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the event on their social media handles.
