The Georgian ministry of justice recently held a first public lecture at the justice auditorium of Caucasus international university. The “Justice Auditorium” was opened recently at the campus of CIU (Caucasus International University).
This was a joint lecture delivered by the First Deputy Minister of Justice and Dean of the Faculty of Law Giorgi Khatidze held at the “Auditorium of Justice”.Tamar Tkshelashvili the first deputy minister of justice of Georgia has reviewed the legal issues within the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice system.
She also listened to the wishes and recommendations of the students regarding the content and format of the planned lectures and answered the questions of the audience.
Notably the “Justice Auditorium” provides an opportunity for higher education students, staff and other stakeholders to gain complete information about the activities of the Ministry of Justice system, its missions, goals and achievements.
The various project of the justice ministry also aims to engage students and raise awareness on legal issues, promote student projects, promote public service, and attract staff in the Ministry of Justice.
She while speaking specifically about the objective of the ministry stated that “The Involvement of civil sector, academic circles and future lawyers in the process of the Ministry of Justice is one of the priorities of the Ministry”.
As per the the available information the implementation of the “Justice Auditorium” project is planned in the near future with cooperation of other universities as well. A significant number of audience were present at the time of public lecture to get themselves updated on the activities of justice ministry.
They also asked many question and queries which were addressed by the Minister and other key speakers of the lecture. Similarly the university students also share their thoughts with the minister and other dignitaries. They thanked the university administration also for the organization of this important public lectures at “Justice Auditorium”.
