A medical equipment factory “LINEMA” was recently opened in Samtredia Municipality. The new enterprise will sell a wide range of medical equipment and instruments.
The Mayor of the Municipality, Davit Bakhtadze officially opened it in the presence of many others. Many other officials a of municipality and other department ccompanied him on this occasion.
The new enterprise was opened after renovating the old tea factory building. The building was well prepared after the complete rehabilitation of the infrastructure. The project’s main objective besides others is to provide better job opportunities for the local medical job seekers.
The opening of a new project there makes Griboedov Street’s investment-industrial potential more attractive While speaking on the occasion, Davit Bakhtadzea added that, “ It is important that a factory for the production of medical supplies has been opened in Samtredia. In this factory, up to 15 local residents were employed who were eligible for positions.”
The company plans to provide more such job opportunities, which will help to solve the employment problem. The local government is always ready to support such a challengem, added by the Mayor.
It is worth noting that several leading Turkish companies have similar profiles and professional knowledge of a specific direction, which will contribute to the gradual development of medical supply production as well.
As the founder of the company proudly states, LINEMA represents the first medical production line in Georgia.
The factory’s production will be utilized in all medical settings be it outpatient or hospital, which will proved a significant milestone in the local medical industry.
Mikheil Tsertsvadze founder and general director of the Linema company said that, due to stable environment created for business in the country, we decided to open a full-fledged enterprise producing medical equipment there.
He further stated that, due to its location, Samtredia is favorable for the mentioned activity. We are thanfull to the local authorities for their maximum support, which is very important to us.
In the near future, LINEMA is set to receive a CE certificate which wiil facilitate the entry of its products into the European market.
