Georgia: The Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, congratulates young people on the successful passing of national exams on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

According to the note shared by the
Georgian Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, the Minister said, “Congratulations to each of you on your success – it is really proud that by demonstrating your knowledge and ability, you have earned a well-deserved place in higher education institutions and in just a few weeks you will be starting a new, significant stage in your life.”
According to Minister Givi Mikanadze, he thinks that they must continue to build a strong state with peace and dignity with joint efforts, and the audience present is the people who will be able to overcome the obstacles of governing the country in the future.
The minister also spoke about the importance of supporting students. She said that more than 11,600 students have received grant funding, a striking example of the appreciation of their hard work, teachers, and families.
He also stated, “Ensuring access to higher education is one of our main concerns. This is proved by various initiatives that we implement, among them a social program. Please note that every year, several students are funded under this program.” “This includes representatives of socially vulnerable families, family members with many children – 4 or more, young people living in the Highlands and temporarily occupied territories, and others,” said

“This, once again, highlights the exceptional attitude of our state towards future generations and promoting their deepening knowledge,” the minister added.
In 2025, more than 31,700 entrants will be eligible to continue their studies at a higher education institution, accounting for about 88% of the eligible exams. More than 11,600 tests received state funding.
