The architectural project of Mestia’s wedding house is designed by a Georgian architect and perfectly combines the unique environment of Svaneti and traditional architectural style.

The project has already gained international recognition. The concept of Mestia’s wedding house became the winner of two prestigious international architectural competitions. At the “Japan International Design Award” held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, the project won the nomination “Best Cultural Architecture Created on Historical Motifs” and “Conceptual Design” in the nomination “Rome Design Award” in Rome, Italy.

The new marriage hall will contribute to both the development of government services in the regions and further enhancement of Mestia as an international tourist destination.
