Aleksandre Tsuladze participates in World Conference on Digital Education in China

The Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Aleksandre Tsuladze took part in the “World Conference on Digital Education” held in the People’s Republic of China. It was attended by more than 70 ministers of education and field experts from different countries.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia shared glimpses of the event on its official Facebook page on May 28, 2025, Wednesday. The Ministry also shared a small note about the conference along with the photographs.

According to the note, it was known that Aleksandre Tsuladze addressed the participants of the conference and talked about the steps taken to implement modern technologies and innovations in the Georgian education system and plans in this regard.

The Minister said promoting digital education is important to help students develop the skills they need to live in the modern world. That’s why the Ministry is placing special emphasis on strengthening the digital component in general and vocational and higher education.

As Alexander Tsuladze noted, the rapid development of digital technologies creates new opportunities and challenges in the fields of education and science, therefore, holding such conferences during this period has a special burden.

According to his statement, the World Conference on Digital Education provides an opportunity for representatives from different countries to share information and best practices essential for addressing modern challenges.

The Ministry also stated that the Minister of Education Aleksandre Tsuladze highlighted the issue of cooperation between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China. The minister also noted that as a result of a long-term partnership, several large-scale projects have been implemented, which have contributed greatly to the development of education, science, innovation, and the economy of Georgia.

The Minister also spoke about the integration of artificial intelligence in the learning process and the importance of strengthening cybersecurity while ensuring universal internet access.

The main theme of the 2025 World Digital Education Conference is – “Education Development and Transformation: The Age of Intelligence”. The event aimed to share information and practices from different countries in terms of transforming the education system and modernizing the learning process in the modern technological world.
