In the city of Senaki of Republic of Georgia, a New Year event was held for the children of military servicemen in the 2nd Infantry Brigade. It was attended by a large number of family members of the armed forces.
It is to be specifically mentioned that the territory of the military base, the brigade’s Christmas tree lighting event and the gala concert were held. Famous Georgian singers and pupils of Senaki Municipality Music Center, with their wonderful performances, created a New Year mood for military servicemen and their family members.
The Deputy Minister of Defense Grigol Giorgadze on this occasion also addressed the children of the military servicemen attending the event, congratulated the upcoming New Year and wished them success.
The event was also attended by the Chief of Defense Forces, Major General Giorgi Matiashvili and representatives of the Defense Forces.
It is worth mentioning that A New Year Village was also organised for children at the military base of Senaki where they had the opportunity to participate in various fun activities. Children of military servicemen also visited the exhibition of military personal equipment and tasted soldier’s food with military servicemen in the brigade canteen.
The venue was decorated with many beautiful things. There was a ballon-decorated entry point. At the same time, there was also a musical performance that mesmerised everyone who was present on the occasion.
A big stage was prepared on this occasion to make the moment more memorable. Similarly, many army men attended the event in full military dress, which was the main attraction for the attendees of the event, especially children.
Stage performers gave their performance with a number of musical instruments. The groups of children were dancing to the music while holding the balloons in their hands.
Some little pulp were also there who perched on the shoulders of their parents to watch the stage performance. People were also capturing the moments of Event to keep it as a permanent memory in mobiles.
The rotating lights on the stage presented a beautiful, colourful view. Along with solo performances some artists also gave a duet performance which was enjoyed by attendees who were singing along with the artists as well.
People and children also like to take photos and selfies with Christmas trees decorated with lights and Georgia flags in their hands.
While talking to media personnel, the attendee and children expressed their happiness and thanked the Ministry of Defence for such a beautiful event.
Children said that they learned a lot of new things about the army that were not in their knowledge before attending the event. Similarly senior citizens also expressed gratitude towards the defence ministry that this will motivate the young generation to know and join the armed forces of Georgia.
