A student from the Georgian National University Elene Mikaia shared her story about study under Erasmus+ program. She termed this program a golden opportunity for international exposure as she is currently pursuing higher education at University of Bragança.
She is student of Bachelor of Business Administration program at SEU, Georgia and is currently studying at the Polytechnic Institute of Braganza in Portugal. Her study at Portugal is being funded by the Erasmus+ program.
As per the provision of this significant students exchange program after completing the course Elene will receive a double degree from SEU and the University of Braganza. This will enhance her international job employability.
While speaking about the program she said, “Studying in Portugal is a source of unforgettable experiences and emotions for me. The environment here is student-friendly, comfortable and friendly in every way.”
She further added that the university gives me the opportunity not only to receive a quality education, but also chance to get to know a new culture, language and traditions. The University of Bragança brings together students from many countries, which makes student life very interesting.
In addition, she underlined that, “The Erasmus + program helps me in my professional and personal development, to be more independent and confident. Also, with the funding I received I can travel to Portugal and other European countries which will enhance my experience.”
Moreover, while speaking about benefits of program, she said, I am sure that this experience will be important in my life and will give me valuable and useful skills. Thank you to SEU for this wonderful opportunity.
The Erasmus is a student’s exchange program implemented in European Union. The scheme was introduced in year 1987 also known as Erasmus plus. The program is helping students to get education in top universities of European Union.
The total number of countries under this program are 27 states of European Union along with 6 non-European countries as well as 55 national agencies.
