Emergency Management Services of Georgia gets high-speed lifeboats

The emergency management service of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs has purchased six new high-speed lifeboats. The new lifeboats were inducted into the fleet today in an induction ceremony.

Tbilisi: The emergency management service of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has purchased six new high-speed lifeboats. The new lifeboats were inducted into the fleet today in an induction ceremony.

 

 

Many Ministry’s dignitaries were present at the induction ceremony. The new fleet of high-speed lifeboats includes six new boats, which are equipped with the latest gadgets and digital devices. The Ministry of Internal Affairs also shares this information on its social media handles. It also shares glimpses of an event to induct the new fleet.

 

It should be mentioned that the Ministry  issuued an official statement in this regard. The statement added,“Today an impressive induction ceremony was held to hand over the fleet of six new speed lifesaving boats.”  It further added that the new fleet will boost the emergency management services’ patrolling and emergency response capability.

 

The event was held in the Black Sea city of Batumi. The handover ceremony was  attended by Teimuraz Mghebrishvili, the head of the Emergency Management Service. At the same time  the head of emergency management services was joined by Tornike Rijvadze, the Chair of Georgia’s western regional Government of Adjara  and the Mayor of Batumi city Archil Chikovani who inspected the lifeboats in the Black Sea city of Batumi.

 

 

The head of the service  the Mayor and all other government representatives and officials of the defence forces inspected the new boats. They also received information about the vehicle’s function from the operator of these latest, updated speed boats.  Meanwhile, the operator of some of the speed rescue boats also held a demonstration for the present official and agency representative.

 

The head lauded the new water vehicles operator’s operating skills and extended his best wishes to all emergency management service members. The head and other members of the emergency management services have   reiterated that in the future, more steps will be taken to upgrade the services’ existing capabilities.
