Tbilisi: Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Irakli Karseladze met Bruce Dunn, Director of Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department of Asian Development Bank (ADB).Â
At the meeting, Irakli Karseladze shared with guests interesting insights from the experience gained in managing infrastructure projects in our country, which can be used by the Asian Development Bank in the process of renewing social and environmental policies. In addition, experience analysis can allow project participants to implement even more projects and at a higher rate.
Additionally, the parties at the meeting reviewed the progress of development projects in Georgia (road, water supply, water supply, educational infrastructure, urban renewal) with the support of the Asian Development Bank.
The Asia Development Bank studies practical experiences of 10 countries around the world in order to update social and environmental policies. Among these countries is Georgia, which has gained great experience in implementing large-scale and innovative projects and uses high standards of the mentioned policy in the process of implementing the projects.
All charity organizations of the Ministry are actively involved in the experience sharing process for the development bank of Asia.Â
The Minister thanked the representatives of the Development Bank for their fruitful cooperation over the years. In his opinion, Bruce Dunn gave high evaluation to the results of his cooperation with Georgia and in particular, with the infrastructure ministry.
 The meeting held at the Ministry was attended by Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Mzia Giorgobiani, Chief of the Minister’s Office Tamar Akhvlediani, Head of the Asian Development Bank of Georgia, Shane Rosentali, Deputy Head of the Georgian Mission Kamil Boumedi and other representatives of the bank.
