Under the initiative of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth, the anti-drug campaign “Me in the future” is being launched in schools, which aims to prevent psychoactive substance use among adolescents and promote healthy lifestyles.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia shared the glimpses of the campaign on its official Facebook Page on Monday, November 3, 2025. The Georgian Ministry also shared a small note about the campaign along with its glimpses.
According to the information shared by the Georgian Ministry, it should be noted that the Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, together with the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, presented the project of a new anti-drug campaign to the school community.
The Minister has emphasized the importance of the project and said that creating a healthy and safe environment for the future generation is the top priority of the government.
At the first stage of the campaign, by the end of the year, in 60 public schools across Georgia, orthodontic officers and psychologists, social workers, and trainers will jointly hold information meetings about the harmful effects of psychoactive substances, prevention of their use, and encouraging healthy lifestyles among adolescents. In addition to informational meetings, a comic book contest, sporting events, and other cognitive activities are planned.
It is noteworthy that in order to lead the anti-drug campaign in schools, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Mandate Service of Educational Institutions prepared an updated module of meetings with pupils, worked coordinately on the practical component, and conducted simulation meetings.
Meetings at the first stage will be held in Tbilisi, Adjara, and Kvemo Kartli. The campaign is supported by the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
