With the support of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia and organized by the Embassy of Georgia in Qatar, at the International Exhibition “Agriteq 2023” 14 Georgian companies are present on the stand of Georgia, who introduced their agricultural products to the visitors.

On the Georgian stand there are Georgian walnuts, blueberries, water, dry and sublimated fruits, chilled mutton, honey, organic juices. The products fully meet international standards. Most of the Georgian companies participating in the exhibition are beneficiaries of state programs of the Rural Development Agency.

“Georgia and the Gulf countries have significant potential for the development of trade relations, which must be developed and, accordingly, increase the trade turnover between the two countries. Establishment of Georgian products in international markets is a priority of our policy. Our goal is to increase the awareness of Georgian agricultural products in the world market, to make them in demand, which will make it possible to increase the export rates steadily.

It is noteworthy that, in recent years, interest in Georgian agricultural products has been growing in the Gulf countries. Therefore, it is imperative that such measures be continued actively in support of our farmers,” Otar Shamugia said.
