The Ministry of Justice of Georgia shared the glimpses of the introduction meeting on its official Facebook Page on April 17, 2026, Friday. The Georgian Justice Ministry also shared a small note about the event along with its glimpses.
Georgian Minister of Justice Paata Salia met with Li Junhua, Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations for Economic and Social Affairs. At the meeting, the parties discussed the successful cooperation between Georgia and the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the prospects for further deepening.
During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to issues related to the organization of the UN Public Services Forum. The event of international importance will be held in Tbilisi on June 23-25 this year and will host 500 high-level guests and experts in the field.
The conversation was about the progress that Georgia has made in the direction of public service reforms and modernization of state services. The Minister of Justice noted that Georgia will present three innovative projects at the UN Public Service Award: Houses of Justice, ProbBox, and Re-Market. According to Paata Salia, the goal of these innovations is to provide citizens with inclusive and accessible services.
The meeting was attended by Beka Dzamashvili, Deputy Lana Morgoshia, Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, and Deputy Permanent Representative of Georgia to the UN.
The delegation of the Ministry of Justice participates in the 25th session of the UN Committee of Public Administration Experts (CEPA). This format is an important international platform for the sharing of public governance reforms and best practices.
