As per the announcement of the Government of the Republic of Georgia, winners of the Shota Rustaveli Georgian National Science Foundation 2022 competition have been awarded. These winners will be eligible To get a scholarship as a young scientist.
Nodar Papukashvili, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia attended this historic event. During his address, he delivered a welcome speech, congratulating the participants of the competition on their victory and wished them success for future journeys during the conference.
On occasion, the winner of the competition, which includes young scientists from different scientific disciplines, introduced the participants of the event to their scientific and research achievements, and they also talked in detail about what they achieved with their hard work in previous years.

The winners of the Rustaveli Science Foundation’s Scholarship for Young Scientists 2022 are: Niko Ketskhoveli Scholarship in Natural Sciences – Giorgi Tefnadze, Alexander Kartvelishvili Scholarship in Engineering and Technology Sciences – Salome Oniani, Ivane Beritashvili Scholarship in Medical and Health Religious Sciences – Mariam Chighladze, David Sarajishvili Scholarship In the field of Agrarian Sciences – Besarion Lasareishvili, Dimitri Uznadze Scholarship in Social Sciences – Vladimir Gamsakhurdia, Ivane Javakhishvili Scholarship in the field of Humanities – Tamta Khalvashi, Ekvtime Takaishvili Scholarship for Georgian Sciences – Ana Tetruashvili.
The main purpose of the competition was to encourage the student to deliver their best in the field of scientific research. Many initiatives have been launched by the ministry in the previous year for the upliftment of research in the field of science.
This award ceremony took place in a big hall where the discussion between the Chief guest of the occasion and participants was also held.
On the other hand winner of the scholarship expressed their happiness . They said they are feeling motivated and will do research work with more vigour and enthusiasm.
Participants also demanded that this kind of recognition is the best morale booster to establish a legacy in the field of scientific research of country.
