Georgia: The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze introduced the new Minister of Infrastructure, Revaz Sokhadze, to the employees of the Ministry on April 25, 2025, Friday.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze emphasized Revaz Sokhadze’s high qualifications and also expressed his warm gratitude to former minister Irakli Karseladze for his work and significant contributions over the years.
The Ministry of Infrastructure has a special mission – infrastructure development, which means peculiarly transforming the country. As the Prime Minister mentioned, a lot has been done, and a lot has changed and  Irakli Karseladze will make a special contribution to this.
It is worth noting that Revaz Sokhadze has been a member of their political team for many years, after 2017 he was a member of the City Council and head of the Urban Commission, therefore he had a direct touch with issues that are directly related to the activities of this Ministry.
It is also noteworthy that Revaz was the Samgori MP, and under his direction, a lot of things were accomplished in the Samgori area. This demonstrates the zeal with which Revaz has served the nation over the years. “He will manage the Ministry of Infrastructure with great success, and I do not doubt that he will successfully finish all of the tasks he has begun. We have a lot of work ahead of us, including significant projects that need to be started and finished. Revaz will be a great leader who possesses these traits. Irakli Kobakhidze said, “I want to wish him success in his role as minister.”
The new Minister of Infrastructure Revaz Sokhadze stressed the importance of teamwork and noted that he is ready to continue working more actively with the ministry’s team to accomplish the assigned tasks.
Former minister Irakli Karseladze thanked the government and the ministry team and wished success to the new minister.
