Georgia: The Government Representatives of Georgia continued hosting working meetings with ethnic minorities to improve the education sector of the country.
It should be noted that the Georgian Government tends to host various meetings to improve the education sector of the nation and it keeps on doing so which is beneficial for the citizens and the country as a whole.
This information was shared by the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency (GCCA) on its official Facebook page on February 18, 2025, Tuesday. The agency also shared the snippets of the working meeting, which was recently hosted at Georgian-Azerbaijani school.
It is worth noting that, the agency is constantly taking care of raising awareness of the population and improving their legal status to strengthen competition policy and effectively enforce consumer rights protection in Georgia.
For this purpose, an information-educational meeting organized by the Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency (GCCA) educational research center, was held with the pupils of Rustavi 18th school.
It is also noteworthy that, the meeting, at the Georgian-Azerbaijan School was held in question-answer mode, where participants received detailed answers to actual issues needed for them.
The participants engaged in discussions with representatives from the GCCA about important considerations for making in-store and online purchases, ways to protect their rights, and the appropriate authorities to contact in case of violations. Through practical examples, students explored the concept of competition, its benefits, and how competition law helps safeguard consumers.
The meetings also included discussions on the improvement of quality education at the professional early and preschool education levels. The members of the meeting also talked about the important initiatives that have been implemented in 2024. It also discusses important activities planned by GCCA to enhance the Quality of Education for 2025.
