Tbilisi: As the many parts of Georgia came under threat due to continue rain and snowfall the condition in many areas is very serious. The health ministry is also working to ensure timely medical assistance to all need immediate attention.
The health ministry representative while sharing details about development added, “The Ministry of Health fully ensures the delivery of medical services in emergency situations, we go to every patient and meet the medical needs of our population.”
The ministry is working in emergency mode and hopes everyone who is in emergency situation will receive proper care, said the head of the Department of Emergency Coordination and Emergency Aid Centre. According to Amiran Gogitidze ambulance brigades work 24 hours a day so that no citizen is left without medical services.
In addition of emergency medical teams in Lanchkhuti, Chokhatauri and Ozurgeti municipalities, high speed ambulances have been mobilized. High-performance resuscitation vehicles are also mobilized in Ozurgeti Municipality to transport patients in critical condition to appropriate medical facilities. We have brought paramedics groups who work at different locations and provide first aid services and medicines to the population, said Amiran Gogitidze.
According to him the Ministry of Health has mobilized pharmaceutical companies to ensure continuous supply of medicines to the population. On the other hand, the family and rural doctors are mobilized in the region to provide first aid services to rural communities.
