Kutaisi: The Kutaisi University of the City has just hosted an international scientific conference. The theme of the conference was “Sustainable development: modern trends and challenges” to protect the world’s flora and fauna.
It is worth noting that this conference was held on November 10, 2024 at the campus of University. At the same time, a large number of attendees attended the meeting who shared their views and experiences with the other attendees.
According to the information made public by the University administration, the conference was dedicated to the International Day of Science. It was attended by many national, regional and international scientists who shared their research work with the audience and gave special presentations to the present wide audience.
It is worth noting that the conference provided a multidisciplinary science platform for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the latest innovations, current trends and problems and practical challenges and solutions.
Scientists from 12 different countries participated in the conference. It is worth noting that this conference also gained significance due to its theme. The scientific community worldwide is raising serious concerns about climate change and global warming. According to scientists this problem needs immediate attention.
They also urged world leadership to take immediate steps to prevent any further loss. Moreover as per experts any delay in this direction will only make the problem more dangerous than present issues.
The key speaker on this occasion called for collective efforts in this direction and called on the global organization to play an active role in curbing this problem with possible assistance.
It was strongly advised at the conference that more steps for sustainable development must be taken on a priority basis. Sustainable development is a term used to describe the wise use of natural sources.
The wise use of natural resources will give them time for recovery. The misuse of natural resources has made them in very poor conditions.
