Tea Giorgade, the deputy Minister of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Protection of Georgia met with her Armenian counterpart Lena Nanushiani.
Both parties during this meeting discusses multiple issues related to health sector of their respective country and occupied areas. The parties have also discussed the long-standing cooperation in the healthcare sector and the development of the primary and public healthcare systems between the two countries.
At the same time this important conversation touched upon joint projects in the field of healthcare. Moreover, on this occasion the IDP minister Tea Giorgadze also informed the delegation members about the significant progress made in improving access to healthcare services.
Similarlyboth sides discussed the prospects for the development of partnership cooperation between Georgia and Armenia. At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of future cooperation with each other.
It is worth to note that the people living in the occupied terrorise faced many issues in their daily life. The ministry was established for overall welfare of the internally displaced families. Most of the families who belonged to the internally displaced and other vulnerable section lived in these occupied territories.
On the other hand, most of the people living in the areas used to raise their challenges through different platforms. They demanded for providing best civic facilities so that they can live a dignified live same as other people.
The central government under Georgian Dream in the past years has launched many programs, policies and initiative. The health minister in his talk with Armenian counterpart assure to hold meeting for discussing in detail the issues of health sector.
On the other hand, Armenian health minster expressed hopes for enhanced cooperation between both the countries on the health front. The social media users while reacting to this appreciated the meeting.
