Tea Akhvlediani presides over a meeting

A significant meeting of the Governmental Commission on Civil Equality and Integration was recently held in Georgia. Tea Akhvlediani the Georgian minister of civil equality and reconciliation led this meeting.

A significant meeting of the Governmental Commission on Civil Equality and Integration was recently held in Georgia. Tea Akhvlediani the Georgian minister of civil equality and reconciliation led this meeting.

It is to be mentioned that Minister Tea Akhvlediani presented the report on the implementation of the “State Strategy for Civil Equality and Integration for the year 2021-2030” and an action plan for 2023 during this meeting.  At the same time the Minister spoke about the dynamics of the progress achieved by the ministry within the framework of strategic priorities, specific results, and implementation of set tasks.

Speaking specifically the Minister of State Tea Akhvlediani stated “Today’s meeting for the Intergovernmental Commission was held with the participation of all sectors involved in the implementation of the State Strategy for Civil Equality and Integration to address the important issues related to our further joint efforts, coordinated and result-oriented activities”.

The minister also stated “We discussed in detail the report of last year’s activity, evaluated the results achieved, and discussed the planned actions for the end of the current year. Moreover regarding our multidimensional and interconnected goals we were also able to set clear orientations for further activities based on a comprehensive analysis of both the progress achieved the current situation and the prospects for further development.

“We will continue intensive activities with wide participation of society, first of all by providing regular communication with representatives of the local population , civil sector, and international partners,” the Minister added.

At the same meeting the First Deputy Minister of State Lia Gigauri presented the activity report for 2023. Meanwhile the Central Election Commission of Georgia , the National Statistics Service of Georgia, and the Department of State Language and Public Broadcaster participated as invited guests in the Government Commission meeting.

Social media users on the other hand also appreciated the Ministry’s decision in this direction. One user Marina Gachechiladze commented, “Good luck to Ms. Tea and the Moss team! Working hard and working right!” Similarly many other users also lauded ministry’s approach.
