Batumi: A new training process for professional education programs has begun at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. This year huge number of students enrolled for different professional courses at the University.
On the beginning of training program, BSU Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze and Director of the Center for Professional Programs Management and Continuing Education Madonna Mikeladze congratulated the students on the start of their studies.
At the same time they both have also spoke about the importance of professional education and the innovations and opportunities offered by BSU, which serve the career development of students.
The other key speaker also addresses the students on this occasion as well. Some of the them includes the Medical Director of Batumi Referral Hospital, Head of the BSU Professional Educational Program “Nursing Education” Tamar Shergashvili and the Chief Nurse of Batumi Referral Hospital, Head of the same program Inga Kiltava.
Moreover the event was attended by employers, students, professors and graduates. BSU professional programs are in great demand. For the fall semester of this year of 2024, professional programs were fully enrolled with first-year students, 71 students were enrolled in BSU through exams.
As per the University officials the rate of filling professional programs is constantly increasing more than 130 applicants registered for 71 vacant places. Admissions for the fall semester of 2024 have been announced for the following professional educational programs: “Financial Services”, “Nursing Education”, “Educator” and “librarianship”.
Almost all the key speakers of the on this beginning event have urged students to enrolled in skill bases professional courses. They have discussed in detail with students the role of technical education in future.
It was also underlined how role of artificial intelligence will define job market of future. Notably in present time many people have expressed concerns that artificial intelligence will dominate the future job market.
The new job seekers are under constant stress that in future getting job as per possessing skill will become difficult. In the end of the students were congratulated by all dignitaries and wished students best wishes for future.
